I spent ten years running finance inside Indonesian startups. At Indodana, a P2P lending fintech, I set up the finance function from day one, including regulatory reporting to OJK. At Cermati Protect, an insurance brokerage with 30+ insurance partners and 300+ clients, I managed the whole finance function: reporting, cash flow, accounting systems and the team. I started Hopemity to give UMKM founders that same in-house finance discipline — clean books, compliant tax, and numbers you can make decisions with — without having to hire a full finance team.
